Born in 1975 in Iran, Vahid, the director of the International Goossun ArtLab, has made his award winning first film, Hamishe Sabz (1992 Iran) at the age of 16 and has since been busy with theatre, film, photography as well as writing. Vahid has produced and directed several films and performances, had photo exhibitions and won several prizes for his works in Iran as well as abroad. His writing has been published in numerous papers and magazines in Persian, English and Danish. He is granted a lectureship at the University of Copenhagen as guest researcher in the Dance and Theatre Research Department. His latest movie, A False Story about Terror (2004 Denmark) has been just finish and he is proceeding the pre-production of his next movie, Negative Falsity that will be released in 2005. A collection of his short stories entitled, In the Space Between two Wakefulnesses, is being translated and published soon.
